China Unicom (South Africa) Operations (Pty) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CUSA") hereby announces an open tender for the " CUSA Mombasa POP Rack Leasing" project. Details are as follows:
Basic Information
1.Project Name:
CUSA Mombasa POP Rack Leasing
2.Project Scope:
CUSA requires leasing a 4kW 42U or higher specification Rack in a data center in Mombasa, Kenya, to deploy POP
transmission and networking equipment.
3.Qualification Requirements:
a) The data center must be neutral: Neutrality means China Unicom can procure and connect circuits from third-party
providers (non-data center operators). However, compliance with local laws takes precedence if such procurement is
restricted.
b) The data center must host local major carriers.
c) The data center must provide 24/7 monitoring and maintenance personnel.
d) The data center must supply a 1+1 redundant power supply.
e) Suppliers must provide a list of commercial, delivery, and fault escalation contacts.
f) The data center must connect to the PEACE and 2AFRICA submarine cables, specifying whether the connection is direct or
through partners.
4.Timeline:
